R100R Urban Assault

We found this 1993 BMW R100R in a barn during an estate sale. The bike had been sedentary for roughly 17 years. Every part was stripped and rebuilt. The rear frame and subframe were modified for a shortened look. We needed a spark arrestor exhaust for off-roading so we modified a FMF Powercore to do the job — which created an awesome throaty roar when the throttle is twisted. The carbs were rejetted for maximum output with the freer flowing exhaust. Suspension was updated using Racetech fork internals and a GS taller rear shock absorber. All aluminum cases were Vapor Honed or media blasted and powder coating applied to the rims, hubs, final drive, covers and swingarm. We added a waterproof pelican case for dry storage and USB charging for GPS, phones or electronics.
